About Mireille Wellness Clinic
What would behavioral health care look and feel like if a woman’s experience were considered from the beginning rather than added later?
Our purpose
Mireille Wellness Clinic (MWC) is developing a women-only behavioral health environment in Arizona with attention to the full experience around care: privacy, safety, communication, surroundings, family questions, professional referrals and the transition back into everyday life.
The organization’s broader work also includes behavioral health education, books and public conversations intended to make recovery and mental health information more understandable.
Why this facility
Mireille Wellness Clinic is developing the women-only facility to help address the need for compassionate, specialized behavioral health and recovery support for women in Arizona. Women may arrive with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, trauma, instability and other hardships that can affect how safe, supported and understood they feel in treatment.
Our aim is to create a safe, structured and supportive environment designed around women’s experiences and needs—one that supports dignity, stability, recovery and long-term well-being.
We believe the impact of recovery can extend beyond one person. Greater stability can strengthen families, support communities and create room for a healthier future.
Our communication principles
Compassion should not require clichés or exaggerated promises.
We explain what matters in plain language and reserve technical language for where it is useful.
We can believe in recovery without guaranteeing an individual outcome.
Women are not one experience, one personality or one story.
We communicate current operating status, applicable credentials, services and contact pathways clearly so patients, families and professional partners can make informed decisions.
Behavioral health communication should respect the sensitivity of the information people may need to share.
Standards & accountability
The women-only facility is not yet open. Applicable Arizona state licensure will be obtained before opening. MWC also plans to pursue Joint Commission accreditation as soon as eligibility and minimum service-volume requirements are met, and will not describe the facility as accredited until accreditation is formally awarded.
Operational design includes attention to patient rights, privacy, staff expectations, incident response, documentation and behavioral-health safety requirements.
Mireille Wellness Clinic is committed to routinely evaluating policies, systems, staff practices, safety processes and the experience of care to support consistent, accountable operations.
MWC maintains public information to reflect current services, operating status, credentials and contact pathways so patients, families and professional partners can rely on what they read.
Planned 2027 initiatives
In addition to developing the women-only facility, Mireille Wellness Clinic is planning community and education initiatives for 2027 that extend MWC’s commitment to behavioral health, recovery and leadership beyond the walls of the clinic.
A planned fellowship initiative with Arizona universities and community colleges designed to give students meaningful exposure to behavioral health, community service, professional development and the realities of care delivery.
A planned community gathering focused on women’s recovery, bringing together behavioral-health professionals, educators, community organizations, people with lived experience and other stakeholders for practical conversation and connection.
A planned scholarship initiative intended to support women pursuing education and leadership development while encouraging future contributions to healthcare, behavioral health and community wellbeing.
